Under the patronage of H.E. Ms. Lina Annab, Minister of Tourism and Antiquities, 21 Jordanian hotels celebrated the graduation of the second cohort of trainees in the “Pathways to Professionalism Program.”  Fifty two hotel employees have been awarded the ‘Vocational Training Certificate of Competence’ and an additional 73 employees were certified as Pathways trainers, coordinators, and examiners for the program.

Pathways to Professionalism, supported by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), provides on-the-job training for employees of Jordan’s hotels to help meet the growing demand for qualified workers. The program gives employees the opportunity to advance their professional development while continuing to work. Employees at hotels participating in Pathways receive specialized training and undergo examination to receive national certification and professional development credit
