National Handcraft Map

National Handcraft Map

Are you a local artisan?

Do you produce unique and authentic handmade crafts?

Jordan has a wide tradition of beautiful crafts and handmade items based on local culture. There are many creative artisans throughout Jordan who produce splendid quality handcrafts using local raw materials, drawing on generations of traditions and culture to develop authentic designs. As artisans work throughout all regions of Jordan some can be difficult to locate and are challenged in accessing target markets.

The USAID Jordan Tourism Development Project is implementing an initiative to give local artisans the opportunity to promote their handmade crafts to international visitors through a National Handcraft Map.

This map will identify the location of handcraft workshops and sales outlets throughout the country, with the ultimate goal of attracting tourists to visit them.

If your products are:
